Teng-Te Yu

Software Engineer, building real-world systems

About Me

I design and build full-stack systems for real-world applications, with a strong focus on real-time communication, multi-device coordination, and reliable backend architecture.

I developed the Karate Management and ScoreBoard System (KMSS), a competition platform that manages scheduling, scoring, and live display across multiple devices. The system is designed around actual tournament workflows and emphasizes stability, synchronization, and usability in live environments.

I'm particularly interested in systems where software directly interacts with the physical world—bridging devices, users, and data in time-critical scenarios.

Focus & Experience

Full-Stack & Real-Time Systems

Design and development of scalable frontend and backend systems with real-time capabilities. Experience building WebSocket-based architectures for synchronized multi-device interaction, ensuring low-latency updates and consistent system state.

System Design

Building reliable systems for real-world use cases, with attention to performance, fault tolerance, and user experience under production conditions.

Non-GNSS Drone Navigation

Development of onboard localization systems for drones operating in GPS-denied environments. Experience includes computer vision, visual localization (SLAM), sensor fusion, and integrating IMU data with filtering techniques to achieve stable and accurate positioning.
